What follows is a loose system of classification used to determine the approximate level of technological advancement among the various sentient species detailed in this hyper-document. It is meant to only be a general guideline and not an authoritative definition.

The Ages of Advancement

The Nomadic age
 Very little social organization. Simple tool technology and limited tribal organization.  Food gained through hunting and gathering mostly and primitive agriculture in some regions, transportation is primarily by foot and Verbal and pictorial communication.


The Agricultural Age
Some regions start to grow food stuffs from the near by lands by sowing fields by hand and keeping small groups of livestock, small villages may pop up but the Nomadic cultures are still rampant across most of the globe.


The Cultural Age                                                                                                                                                                                                         Regional social organization established with the gathering of villages and large towns as trade routes emerge to sell the food from the farms and ports to sea, this forms the first states or kingdoms as the routes strengthen with growing trade . Food gained through agriculture is improved with the use of more advanced sowing tools and the use of animals, husbandry of livestock is fully established and is a growing trade.  Small scale manufactured goods come apparent as transportation through animal, water or wind-powered means a greater distance to trade or to conquere. Written communication has been created and religion usual starts its roots in this time frame. Nomadic tribes are forced away from these regions to keep there way of life.                                        


The Industrial Age
Continental social organization. Population is divided evenly between agricultural and manufacturing industries. Tools become more advanced. Electricity is in use. Simple mechanized vehicles. Mass produced text and some electronic communication. Nomadic tribes are a rarity.


The Information Age                                                                                                                                                                                             Mass production becomes more efficient, giving rise to advances in alloys and plastics. Primitive space travel.  Global social organization. Automation increases effeciency in manufacturing. Atomic and solar power are in use. In-system space travel is developed. Information based industries arise.


The Stellar Age
 The interstellar
average. Colonial social organization. Highly efficient industries. Large-scale contruction techniques discovered. FTL technology allows extra-system travel. Quantum flux based communication allows "instant" communication over interstellar distances.


The Gravimetric Age
 Some principles of magneto-gravitics are developed. Advanced biochemistry. Crystalline-based (rather than metallurgic) technology developed. Slicer-beam weaponry discovered.


The Organic Age
 Ability to create fully functioning organic technology: from scanners

The Cattatae Confederation has the largest teritories and with it the biggest military in the Known Galaxy, Once a formidable Giant is know more considered a sleeping one as its military has not been active for over 60 years. Cattatae culture is rich as its colouful history with statues 100's of feet high comenderating the legends of old scattered around there cities, more aristorcratic now than any point in there long history the cattatae people dream of the great days of the Empire and rullers of the stars.  The history of the Cattatae has its fair shares of near extinction events with a catstrophic war with another co-existing reptilian species called the Shrass'an which nearly decimated the mamal Cattatae population, a subsquient nuclear war centuries later almost wiped out all life on Cattatae Prime and left most of it a radioactive waste land.  The survivors of built the Cattatae Empire and started exploring nearby stars with the use of an alien piece of technology called the Portal left behind by the now extinct Zalkat Union, eventualy they started encountering aliens and with there technological edge subdued them into the empire as serviants species of the empire but when it came to species on an even par the task took decades or even centuries to placify the species. As there reaches to the stars grew so did the Cattatae populations through out the colonies and as by the modern era the homeworld is less populated than some of its more thriving colonies.

The Vok-sha were the first species encountered by the Cattatae and due to the fact that the Vok-sha were just leaving the Earth's aquilivant of a Bronze age they were domminated quite quickly by the advanced cattatae and ever since have been a sub serviant race of there masters, there culture has adopted the Cattatae's way of living and understanding and over the millenium of being a cilent race with beginnings of slavery are now seen as well respected species within the Known Galaxy with large amounts of trade due to low cost workers imposed by the Steward of Keto-Enol, it keeps the Cattatae Confederaion economy on the upside for at least three centuries.

The Shale were introduced to the Cattatae when they were in their own Cultural age of development, due to the distance of Illium to Cattatae Prime there was quite some time before the Cattatae made an impact on Shale society. For over 2 century the Shale had known of life outside there world but the possibility of seeing one in there lifetime was rare until 1488 AD and the new Emperor Reclaw declared all alien subjects of the Empire slaves, The Cattatae returned to Illium and put the Shale in to exstracting materials from there own planet. Eventually the Cattatae start to change their views of there serviant races and started there road to a more economic prospects, all this changed however in 2031 AD when Regent Milvi ordered the Shale to be destroyed due to his mis trust towards telepathic races. The order was never carried out due to a growing power struggle within the Regency at the time. Business on Illium is becoming very lucative and is threatening Eto-Enol's economic monopoly within Cattatae markets, the Shale have been truly indocinated to the Cattatae way of life due to pre-Cultural contact with them.  There telepathic abilities are not common throughout the species with only 30% having the active gene.

The Zetarians can pass chosen memories to each other with a telepathic ritual of up to 3 to 5 members of the same immediate family. When the Cattatae came to there world in 1389, the Zetarians had started colonising near by planets and were experimenting with Quantum flux technology. An Zetarian holocaust had taken place seven decades before Cattatae first contact, during this time a group who did not wish to use technology, called the Regressives, were wiped out by the Zetarian authorities.  The holocaust had since been hidden from younger generations until the Cattatae came and discovered the documents deep within there governments volts.  This helped to topple the Zetarian government that was resisting Cattatae rule and established the empire control over Zetaria. Being transitioned into slavery is not that harsh of condition as it is expected, the slaves of the Cattatae Empire were well looked after and only the more rebellious slaves were given harsher treatments and only killed or "end of contract"when a slave commits murder, only in some rare cases did the Cattatae truly fail in there occupations and either decimated the species homeworld or populations. This happens when there is lapses in Cattatae rule and more harsher occupational technics are used to subdue an alien population or a planets resources. Zetarian culture before 1389 was rich and democratic with potential to rise into the Stellar Age within 200 years, the Cattatae came and smashed this culture out of existence and the Zetarians were placed into slavery, in the 1900's the Cattatae Regency started to reform its servant races into producing wealth for itself and strengthen the Regency as a whole.  Know the Zetarians are free and have a booming economy and have kept there old traditions and embraced the Cattatae political and economic ways.

The Onyans were discovered in 1467 by the advancing Cattatae Empire and were easily subdued into there social hierarchy due to the low level of advancement of the Onyans civilisation.  The Catatae saw great potential in the Onyans as a worker caste as they can reproduce in massive numbers but the species is not intelligent enough to do more than the basic tasks, so the species were mostly left alone to exist in there naturally hunter gatherer existence and only some were used in the mines and quarries of the Empire.  These days the Onyans live free on all the worlds they were introduced too but are now being seen as an infestation to some garden worlds and Catatae colonies due to Onyans quick reproduction cycles.  The Detapa Council is considering extermination of all Onyans except to the confines of their homeworld due to growing problem.

RAKHARIAN society has embraced Cattatae culture since First Contact in 1446, one of the more peaceful transiton of early Cattatae imperialism as the Rakhari were in under the rule of a dictatorship that had kept the majority in poverty,famine and disease for over 400 years before the Cattatae came and eliminated the leaderships futile attempts of defiance against Cattatae rule.  The majority of the Rakharians were promised to be freed of rampant diseases and worked out of poverty, one of the more merciful acquisitions of Cattatae occupation as they took pity on the squaller of the Rakharians society.  The Rakharians were given work as slaves but they were hard working and were happy to do so, soon the Rakhari were able to have certain freedoms on there homeworld quicker than Keto-Enol or Illium did due to the RAKHARIAN work ethic.  Know the Rakhari have personal freedoms to do as they wish since the total  abolishment of slavery in the 2170's,  Rakhari has a growing economy similar to Zetaria's growth and are seen to be the next economic powers within the Cattatae Confederation.  Rakharians have a average lifespan of 600 years and reach maturity when they reach 70, but this is countered by low birth rates that balances the population.

 The first civilizations started on Earth about 10,000 years ago but like most alien species, the first cultures usual die out within 500 years due to multuple disasters or geographic confines. The first continuous Civilizations started rougthly 5,000 years ago around Europe and Asia with the Roman Empire and Chinese Dynasties which marked the beginning of stable agriculture and animal domestication which enabled economies and cities to develop, this is where some of the most greatest religions were founded but soon the main course for technological stagnation that lasted a thousand years.  This made the Cultural Age last longer than most alien cultures but all this changed with the Earth's very own Renaissance Age which brought Humans into the Industrial Age within 300 years, which eventually saw two global world wars that devastated many regions of the planet. Rare within alien civilizations saw Earth's regions advance at different stages, Europe saw massive urbanization, where most other regions lived a semi Agricultural-Cultural Age of development and in a few places survived a simple Nomadic Age of existance.  With the creation of Atomic weapons finally saw away with massive global wars and started a slow globalization that continues to this very day with regions decades or even centuries behind the rest of the world, the quick development into the Information Age that advanced 500 year faster than most alien civilizations saw advances into the star system with the colonization of nearby planets and research into Quantium Flux technology which has made some aliens believe they had outside help. Luckily for humanity Earth has an delicate but unique climate that can adapt and repair itself rather quickly that has helped the human race to survive, unlike Cattatae Prime or Cyone that has taken thousands of years to start repairing itself with reaching effects on there cultures.  When the Cattatae made First Contact in 2105 AD did the humans make the leap into Interstellar travel and within 50 years had transitioned into the Stellar age through alien technologies.  The creation of the Earth Alliance pioneered the humans expansion into the Interstellar community and only after a century had they become a major power with in the Known Galaxy.  Know the Earth Alliance is one of the most influential, economic most importantly one of the powerful military powers but its not an all conquering species like the Cattatae or the Hutts that dominated species they encountered, its been able to achieve its economic and military dominance through building an interstellar network and protecting its interests inside and out. The Humans have played some pivotal roles within the last 100 years that have shaped the interstellar landscape and caused some problems for some species but have secured the freedoms of many others, the Earth Alliance is know being held as the only shield strong enough to take on the threats from the Son'a or the Narn.

Prior to the Cattatae's invasion, Narn was a healthy green planet. Now it has the look of a slightly more habitable dust bowl. The surface temperature can fluctuate by at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit on any given day.  Before the Cattataw invasion the planet was dominated by primordial jungles and forests, teeming with animal life. Craggy mountains and small, landlocked seas covered the rest of the globe. One of the most revered locations on Narn is the G'Quah mountain range which was once home to the vicious On'Vik and herds of wild Dar and horned beasts called Natok that stomp and make noise when angered or disturbed. Following the Cattatae occupation, the Narn homeworld now is fairly barren, with a thin atmosphere and low humidity. Much of the land is a desolate rose-copper desert, as the Cattatae's occupation decimated the environment; very few areas of original forest and jungle remain. Although the Narn reclaimed much of their planet for agriculture, they managed to restore relatively small areas of forest and jungle, this eventualy caused massive climatic upheavals. The current state of the planet's already depleted biosphere after massive strip minning is grim, with Narn's few remaining large animal species (such as the Val) endangered. Apparently only the avian species seem to be flourishing; it seems a general consensus among the Narn and alien scientists that only heavy teraforming can return the planet to its former condition of lush forestland.  The Cattatae came as friends and were forced off Narn as enemies and made the once peaceful Narn a hateful bitter race to all other sentient life in the known galaxy. Once controlled by a strict caste system the Cattatae tried and failed to eradicate this form of benign governing and paved the way for the leading rebel force the Kha'Ri to take charge over a weak 1st,2nd and 3rd Circles and made the Narn wage a partial successful war against the League, which did nothing to help there already dire state of Narn. Many of the primary worlds in the Narn Regime lacked an abundance of natural resources, For this reason the Regime relied heavily on strip mining resources from neighboring planets which were already part of the Cattatae Confederation and other powers, such as Tu'Chouq. As opposed to making trade alliances with them, the Narn Kha'Ri would often ocupy worlds and use the populations as forced laborers.  there advancment was only stopped by the Earth Alliance and there League allies with the Treaty of Illapa was signed that doomed many sentient races to be forced into slave labour as the Narn's were the new master race of that region and vieled a cold war between the Humans and the Narns for half a century.

The Enisians were luckily discovered by the Drazi in the mid 21st century and were left alone by the Cattatae due the Drazi's keeping quiet about the species. After the fall of the Regency and the Drazi were freed to do as they wish and established the League with the Abbai and the Balosians, the Drazi came released the existence of the Enisans and proclaimed it an League protectorate and the Cattatae honoured it.  When the Narn started there war of vengeance on the known Galaxy and Enisans was soon occupied.  the Enisians were in the beginnings of an Industrial age when the Narn invaded and are there population is now starting to fall due to the degrading situation on Enis as the huge Narn factories polluting the atmosphere.

Vaguun was a low tech world with primitive nomadic tribes which was discovered in 1973 AD but was ignored by the Cattatae due to the potential investment on Narn and the rights  of ownership were past from the military to the Detapa Council if the planet was to be transitioned into the Regency and were left  at that until 2109. The Vaguuna were unaware that they were part of the Cattatae Confederation until the Narn came to place the Vaguun people under slavery due to the fact that Vaguun was spared the harsh punishment of Narn.  Many within the Kha'Ri felt the Vaguuna should recieve the same treatment they had. With that notion the Vaguuna were transitioned into slavery and the planet being striped mined for all its worth. Vaguuna culture has all been destroyed by the Narn as slavery is all they know, the reason they put up with the Narn's punishment is due to mass brainwashing of the people about the Narn protecting them against the Genocidal Cattatae.

Nausica was discovered by mistake by lost Drazi merchants en-route to Illium in 1955 AD and was quickly notified to the Cattatae Regency.  The Nausicans were primitive with a few small scattered cities spanning across one continent, quickly subdued into the Cattatae ranks occupied states, the Nausicans were more or less left alone with the general population knowing about aliens and that they were paet of the Cattatae Regency but would be a very rare thing if they actually saw one. The Narn came in 2109 and captured  the border world of Nausica and slaughtered the minute Cattatae population and Intendent and formerly declared Nausica part of the Narn Regime.  Since then the Nausicans have been under harsh slavery, with heavy industrial works now scattered across the planet for the construction of huge Narn war machines.  The future looks bleak for the people of Nausica with no hope in sight in ending there permitted occupation.

The Tu'Chanq were living a very pleasnet existance with vast agricultural lands and one primary city called lothalia, they existed this way for 3 thousand years with no technological advances. THis all changed when the Narn arrived and orbital bombed Lothalia into a glass covered crater, a day later the Narn landed near the ruins and told the Tu'Chanq that they was recently bombed by the Cattatae but were driven off by the Narn but couldnt save there capital in time.  Within hours heavy equipment was being brought in by ships in the fictional pretext of the Cattatae's return, the Narn told the Tu'Chanq that we must build together a fortress of factories to hold off the Cattatae to which the Tu'Chanq agreed to save there world.  Since then Tu'Chouq has suffered a disasterous ecological disaster with massive munition factories as all jungles have been decimated and there world has become a dust bowl similar to Narn, all animal life has all but been destroyed and only the Tu'Chanq have survived only due to being given there own reprocessed dead to keep them alive and still living under the pre-text that this is nescasary to save their species from the Cattatae.

A trade union that is led by the corporations and conglomerates and is regulated by the Council of Industries which makes it the defacto ruling government that has ruled over Brakos for centuries, the idea of nations never realy formed on Brakos in its history as in the early days of trade the growing cities states traded food and culture and later to money and technologies dominated Brakiri life until planetary corporations started taking over and disbanded the old city states. Wars have occured but not since the cities lost there sovrenty has there been any internal conflict.  There form of governing is especially uneak to the Brakiri  and despite their successful trade agreements with other alien nations, some major League worlds have little trust towards them and is very suspicious of their actions because of their capitalist society to be more oppressive than democratic. The Brakiri learned very quickly that to protect there homeworld and colonial interests from alien aggressors, they must place funds into defending its assets with a great deal on the rush factor that has placed them a major power and an substantial hedgemony within the region in such a shorter amount of time than the Earth Alliance military build up. The Resolution is brought in to Brakiri custom of ritual suicide, introduced to cope with the overcrowding in the 'death-watch' facilities where people were originally simply sent to wait for death. Brakiri .who reached the age of seventy were expected to present themselves to all of their family and friends for the Resolution ceremony, intended to represent a celebration of their life. The ritual eliminated the society's responsibility of caring for the elderly, with an age of seventy being selected so that those dying could say goodbye to their loved ones while still in full possession of their faculties; it was believed that asking each family to randomly picking an age for their elders to die was too heartless.

The Vori have had FTL capabilities for nearly 2 thousand years but exploration was never a driving force within Vori socierty, the species took nearly 11 thousand years to advance from the Cultural to Stellar age.  A slow race in terms of technological advancement against other alien species of the same time frame, when they contacted the Cattatae in 1523 it was with weapons fire from the Cattatae ships.  This grueled out into a long war between the two species and lost heavily for it, in 1625 the Vori and Cattatae signed the Mutual Companionship Agreement, which garantees Vori soverignty and denounce Vori territorial claims within Cattatae space, the Cattatae agree to withdraw there holdings 500 LY's from the Nekrit Expance. The Vori were given free range between the borders of Cattatae space and the Nekrit Expanse, they are now the most dominent military and economic power within the Free Nekrit Territories.

The Son'a Supremacy was formed under a treaty that was established in 2093 AD, a power-sharing agreement between the Son'a Central Command and the Tokrak Order to rebuild there civilization through the earliest stages of the Genophage. Friction always existed between the two organizations as the Central Command worked to expand the reaches of the Supremacy and the Tokrak Order worked to suppress it. The civilian Grothnel Assembly was established to serve as the chief governing body between the two branches, however in practice the Assembly was virtually powerless. Son'a tend to be predatory in nature, always seeking a dominant position in social gatherings. In normal courting behavior, Son'a couples routinely act bitter and snap at each other but in Son'a society they generally exhibits little or no sexual bias. The Tokrak Order released the Kha'hat plague as a genocidal attrition amongst the rebel peoples to stop a global civil war, but what they didnt realize was and lack of understanding of wind patterns of there homeworld that spread the plague across the globe within months killing 200 million. eventually the Son'a were able to mutate the plague's levality to a more dormant strain but left the skin features prominent and unbeknown at the time was severe infertility amongst females and the plague was dubbed the Genophage which brought about the rise of the militaries own Central Command. Nae'Onat's climate is warmer than that preferred by most mamal-like species, centuries ago its inhabitants were a peaceful and spiritual people, in the days of the Komerex-Son'a Civilization, the Son'a collected works of art and the population boasted a vast wealth of art and culture; the people were said to have elaborate burial vaults with unimaginable treasures. However, Nae-Onat's lack of natural resources mixed with the many wars with the Seadwellars and the following global civil war caused terrible famine and the end results of the Genophage caused the Komerex-Son'a civilization  to fall into decay. Its ruins were plundered by starving Son'a who sought to sell whatever they could to provide for themselves. The Zahl homeworld is situated within the gloomy radioactive Omarian nebula and on Zahl it shrouded the night sky with with a dark grey veil, this in turn made the Zahl become ignorant of the possible stars beyond the nebula and that the whole universe existed within the nebula.  There civilization has existed for over 15,000 years and were using fusion technology at the time the Cattatae stumbled upon them in 1815, peacefully making first contact with the Zahl and broadening there horizons to the greater universe.  The Cattatae leave the Omarian Nebula with the promise to help the Zahl out of the isolation of the nebula, but due to Cattatae political turmoil at the time of the report of the Zahl, it got got overlooked and were forgotten.  The Zahl eventually discovered Quantium flux technologies and soon  tried to find the Cattatae, but soon discovered that the Cattatae were a menacing imperial power and was advised to stay away.  Soon the Cattatae would come in contact with the Zahl once more and were alamed of a growing threat towards there northern borders, the Regency started bulking up defenses and started claiming Zahl colonies, the Zahl contested and a long bloody war would about with near destruction of the Zahl Protectorate. Luckily for the Zahl was the coronation of Regent Turin, a pacifist that hated the militaries hold on political power was able to make peace with the Zahl and withdrew Cattatae territory behind the Gargaji Rift. The Zahl however were not permitted to expand it's influence beyond the new Outer Rim Line, that was decreed an area of Cattatae interest and to cross it would be an act of war. The Zahl economy would have to go through Prytt, Baku and Breen space to by pass the sanctions. Today the Zahl Protectorate is doing very well with the Free Nekrit Territories and other minor powers outside of the Outer Rim Line.

Widely considered to be a war-like and belligerent race, the Drazi have maintained a strong warrior tradition since the very dawn of their civilization, around 800 BC which is quite short history compared to the interstellar standard of 5 to 10 thousand years. Every male Drazi in the Freehold is required to spend at least three years in military service and as benefits their aggressive nature, the Drazi military is well-equipped and superbly effective. A raid by Cattatae forces in 1427 AD forced the Drazi into a rapid technological advancement due to any more attacks, they didnt happen but the Drazi had made the leap into Quantium Flux technologies and were colonizing local star systems. The Cattatae reappeared in 1774 as Drazi ships explored there frontiers, but by then the Cattatae was a different Empire and more enlightend people than there first contact with the species. Eventualy subdued into the Cattatae Empire, the Drazi were able to broker a deal with the Cattatae by contributing to there own saftey and management of there teritory by keeping there own economy alive to strengthen the Empire.  Awarded freedom in the late 21st century, the Drazi made assurances with other freed or sovereign powers to never fall under Cattatae influence again. Being one of the founding member of the League of Free Worlds, the Drazi have been able to strengthen there position as economic and military masters outside of Cattatae space for over a century until the growing influence of the Earth Alliance and the devastating invasion of the Narn placed the Drazi as a Regional power struggling to maintain there hegemony over the League. The Abbai civilization dawned around the Earth year 11000 years ago and is regarded as a model of tolerance and respect having eradicated all poverty and inequity. Although the Abbai are dominated by the female gender, this is simply a fact of Abbai biology that the females naturally outnumber males five to one. For their part, the males are in no way considered inferior and are able to participate in all areas of society, with the exception of the government itself. This arrangement seams to work as it has remained stable for over four millennia and most males seem more interested in pursuing artistic, scientific or academic professions over politics.  Shunning large settlement or cities, most Abbai prefer to live in small villages, built in or around water. As such there are only 10 large cities on Illapa.  To Abbai sex is considered a normal and healthy activity both inside and outside of marriage and so they have no concept of infidelity. Polygamy and bisexuality are the norm in Abbai society and they are open to coupling with just about any gender of any race with which they are anatomically compatible. Religion is highly prized among the Abbai, as is tolerance and mutual respect. As such their sixteen distinct religious hold no rivalry towards one another. The most dominant belief system on Illapa is Oulai, the worship of wind and water. Unlike most other races the Abbai do not worship divine being(s) but instead revere the natural elements (stone, sand, plants, mountains etc.) with the exception of Kolai; the worship of logic and knowledge. As a species Abbai have a low birth rate which has kept their level of population growth stable, though this can also leave them vulnerable to disasters such as famine and plague from which it can take generations to fully recover.  Since the discovery of FTL the Abbai have peacefully exploring the Known Galaxy and have come into contact and wars with other species over the last 700 years but most have been peaceful to the Abbai and is a founding member of the League of Free Worlds. Though they are a peaceful race who do not believe in conquest or violent expansion, they are by no means total pacifists and are quite capable of defending themselves as such It is rare for a race to attack the Abbai and even rarer to see an Abbai ship fighting outside their territory, the last time Abbai ships participated in an outside battle was in 2211 during the 3rd Narn war. In early 2209, the Narn invaded Abbai space, the Narn were surprisingly more merciful than most species they conquered at this time. But the Abbai jumped into joining the other League worlds in fighting the Narn.  As soon as the Narn were repelled from the occupied territories within there space, the Abbai forces were ordered to return home. Balosians enjoy broad freedoms. So long as one completes his duties, and does not prevent others from completing theirs, nothing is forbidden. For example, there are no laws against recreational drug use, but if someone is unable to complete his duties due to drug use, his superiors step in. Judicial proceedings are 'interventions.' Peers express their concern, and try to convince the offender to change. If rehabilitation fails, Balosians have no qualms about sentencing dangerous individuals to life at hard labor for the state.  One of the few races that discovered FTL all by themselves in 2029, they soon realized that they were in the middle of the Hutt Empire and were soon forced to except a there place within the Empire.  There stateshood only lasted until 2044 when the Cattatae forced the Hutts off Balos for good. Not wasting little time the Balosians quickly re-booted there FTL program, but not exploration but military protection was now in the mind set. The Balosians had there revenge on the final days of the Hutt Empire, The Balosians later helped in the founding of the League of Free Worlds which has been a prominent and defending member ever since its creation.  Balos itself is unique as it has only 3 kinds of plant life and 6 types of animal life and the Balosians being one of them, this is due to a an impact of a cerestial body about 8 million years ago that wiped out 99.9% of all life on the planet.  The only surviving species were kept alive by in the warm poles of the planet, these species rapidly repopulated the planet surface and the Balosians were the only race to evolve from there tree monkey like origins.

Over many years, this had become a great scandal and in about 1235 AD.  it ended with the passage of religious laws which eventually led to their persecution and then to their extermination. They were hunted down on their world until they were completely wiped out by 1642AD.  When the Hutts made first contact 1410 AD, the Hyach were left to there own affairs and to commit genocide until the mid 15th century. When the Hyach became a true part of the Hutt Empire, they edited their history files so that other races would not learn of the shame of what they had done. However, over time it was discovered that the Hyach birth rate was in a steady decline, the cause of which was eventually found to be due to the absence of a crucial genetic component that could have only been supplied through intermarriage with the Hyach-do. With the Hyach-do gone, the Hyach seemed to have paid for their genocide with the possibility their own extinction. This discovery was eventually made public in 2262, when the Hyach Grand Council of Elders were discovered abducting and conducting experiments on other alien species,The scandal almost toppled the government.  Being a geritocracy, age is the supreme mark of leadership in the Hyach culture and the entire race is ruled by it's elders. The  Gaim are rapidly advancing however, investing the majority of their planetary resources to create highly advanced warships of there own, some orbital ship yards have sprung up over the homeworld and defense saterlites to protect the Queen's nests.  Gaim ground force warrior drones are the fiercest soldiers to be found in the known Galaxy, Genetically engineered specifically for military combat, these fierce warriors are not to be trifled with, as the Narn can attest to.  To help fund the acquisition and development of new technologies, the Gaim Royal houses have taken to hiring out their ground troops as mercenaries.  At present the Gaim's primary exports is biological matterial, specifically biological computer processors, advanced drugs and deadly bio-weaponry.  The Gaim are the becoming the undisputed leaders in the biological science and while their mechanical and space sciences are below many races, this gap is quickly being closed. The research teams which have been allowed access to N'Chak'Fah by the royal houses have found evidence that Gaim current evolution of species have been around for 8 million years and there Queens numbering over a thousand can live upto 10 thousand years but the average drone or soidier can live to only 30 years.  All history is only recent history to the Gaim due to the fact that there was no recolection of history in Gaim socierty. The Gaim Queens are the matriarchs of the hive-minded species. The largest of their species at about fifty feet long, queens are powerful and intelligent creatures who guide the soldiers and workers of their broods with a form of telepathic song, which also allows them to speak through "receptive" beings of other alien species. Hurr culture is dominated by trade, whether it be of land, resources, or even other tribe members, as the Hurr have a reputation as traders and merchants, there work as  given them the reputation as the best financial advisers outside of Brakiri space.  They tend not to be violent, and can even seem overly-pacifistic and cowardly to other, more militant species like the Narn or humans,  Their inability to provide adequate soldiers for themselves is a primary reason for not yet being an economic power in the interstellar community.  The Hurr have two names but no family names. According to Hurr sensibilities you cannot own a person, so using a family name would essentially be laying claim to their offspring. Possibly because of their tribal origins, The Hurr tend to refer to members of other races by their source world rather than species name (i.e. "Earth-clan" instead of "human").  Andromma has lost full sovereign rights to govern its own people and know is a Directorate and a controlled  state of the Narn Regime.  In return for falling under the protective umbrella of the Narn military, the Hurr have past laws to start paying a tax to the Regime, as well as deferring to the Narn in all foreign policy matters and providing auxiliary troops and a manned fleet to the Narn armed forces if needed.

The Vree are a telekenetic species native to Ventuki and is one of the most economic and influential leaders within the League of free worlds,  Their current appearance comes from thousands of years of genetic engineering and have perfected cloning, vast banks of non-sentient clones held multiple copies of each living Vree and effectively achieved immortality.  Vree history spans over 25,000 years and were a very different species and resembled there distant cousins the Bynars, the Vree archived FTL capabilities around 17,000 years ago, but soon discovered when the Vree stared colonising near by worlds that the Vree Parital lobe would soon degrade to the point of the Vree's death within a few years.  This ended early exploration and colonisation on all but one colony where the Vree were able to find similar conditions to Ventuki but still hafed Vree life expectancy and the remaining Vree remained on the homeworld.  With exploration abandoned the Vree eventually used up all of Ventuki's natural resources to a point of having to end there way of life within 16,000 years, during the mean time the Vree had started experimenting with cloning and genetic engineering and archived immortality with the use of clones and altered there appearance.  By the 1700's the Vree had modified there bodies to the modern Vree they are today and had eradicated the conditions within there partial lobe to finally leave ventuki for a second time to colonise other worlds with the main intensions to find resources they had depleted on Ventuki and transport them back to the homeworld.  Due to using clones for the already existing Vree in there society, there positions in society remained and formed a decadent culture and political strife for thousands of years until the problem with Ventuki's resources was that dire that a solution had to be come with the ability to leave the homeworld that reshaped Vree society within 100 years, this created the workers union, trade federation and banking clans to manage Vree society called the Grey Council.  This way of governance would explode in the Vree civil war based around the capital that lasted 3 weeks but altered Vree society.

The Talaxians were discovered by human merchants while en-route to the Brakiri homeworld and jumped into the talaxian star system,  already active with one colony and small scattered outposts through out the star system and researching Quantium Flux technology.  The Talaxian people are usually very friendly and come across as very helpful and were willing to offer their services to anyone who required them, Talaxians also tended to be a spiritual people, known for their enjoyment of stories and the company of others and Talaxian burial ceremonies were elaborate, involving a full week of mourning.  Talax has a long history that spans nearly 20,000 years of ancient texts as story telling and family history as a main part of Talaxian life, but there history marked with eras of technological strife that lasted for centuries. When first contact could not be undone by the humans, the decision was made to fully encourage the Talaxians to make the leap into interstellar space by the Earth Alliance and not make the same mistakes as they did with the Llort.  By 2177 the Talaxians had achieved FTL travel and started to explore there interstellar neighborhood and started a small colonization program and had signed up to be part of the League, by 2210 the Talaxians were victims of the Narn Wars and saw there colonies under occupation.  With the help of the League and Earth Alliance collission had vanquished the Narns from there territories,  with there small defense fleet smashed to ribbons by the Narns. Talax did not have much time to recover from the war when in 2213 the Koulani took a chance to invade talaxian space and occupied the homeworld.  Unable to occupy the entire planet of Talax, the Koulani took control of 20 of the largest cities and toppled the government, secured a fleet in orbit for civilian control on the surface but for the rest of talaxian colonies was subject to Koulani occupation on the ground.  In 2218 The Earth Allaince took the initiative to stop the Koulani before they became to powerful even for them, the EA having sccesfull campaign in there own border they pushed there advantage onto Talax itself and forced a bloodless retreat from the homeworld.  The Koulani pulled all its forces out of all Talaxian territory by the end of the year and Talax signed the Mutual Defense Initiative with Earth and kept cordial relations with the League as an existing member.  Know the Talaxians profit from the huge amount of trade between Earth and Brakos as there routes traverses Talaxian space.

 The Vhnori have had a violent history of wars and genocides throughout its 9,000 year history, usually being ruled by tryanical despots that kept the general populace under an order of fear and death.  When the Cattatae discovered Dekunna in 1701 AD they were having a golden age of peace and in the early stages of the Industrial age, the cattatae soon firmly put into place fear, poverty, slavery and death back into Vhnori socierty.  Never benefiting from cattatae reforms in the early 1900's except self governance which reverted into a dictatorship, the vhnori survived these deprived  conditions until they were given there full independence in 2172.  The government quickly set up the Vhnori Order and stole FTL technology from evacuating Cattatae transports in the final days of the occupation, since then the Vhnori have built up a reputation as tech runners and small scale raids to aquire alien technology.  The Vhnori set up a small armada as it set up a perimeter of colonies for the sole purpose of the defense of Dekunna.  The Vhnori came into the interstellar limelight when it sided with the Dilgar to secseed from the League and became an prominent member of the Sedition.  When war was declared between them and the League, the Vhnori took a vital role in military campigns against the Vree and Andor as its territory was used as a staging area to attack the core League worlds.  There dreams of a large empire within the Sedition was all smashed by the Earth Alliance's offensive and the eventual defeat of the Dilgar, the Vhnori continued the fight until the issue of surrender and the breakup of the Sedition. Unhappy with this defeat the Vhnori vowed to continue the fight, they made the Brakiri believe they had layed down there arms and bought Brakiri warships for the re build of there military.  They used these ships to launch attacks against the Xon and Bajor, quickly halted by the EA, League and Brakiri forces, the Vhnori retreated back to there borders and remained there with the EA and League having constant border patrols.

  The Hutt developed FTL travel 3,000 years ago during the Naguses Age of the Hutt Dynasty, there empire was slow to expand due to there aristocractic nature and slow to enhance their own technology, the Dynasty spaned over 500 light years and lasted for over 2,000 years.  After the line of the last Nagus died out with no successor the Dynasty fell into system wide enclaves for nearly a thousand years with no external conquest or technological advances, until Churubba conquered the Hyach species in 1410 AD.  When the Kes Hegemony encountered the Hutts in 1431, they took on the challenge of invading and occupying the Hutts and transioning them into slaves, but Churubba was able to unify the System Lords of the Hutts and repel the Kes from there territories and placed the Kes into slavary instead.  Churubba anoited himself as Grand Nagus and all other system lords as Naguses and founded the Hutt Empire that would last for over 500 years and annexed over a dozen species.  The Empire had its fair share of problems due a stagnated political hierarchy and having only a handful of real leaders over the centuries that would bring the empie back from the brink of internal kaos.  When they discovered the Cattatae Regency they had cordial relations until war broke out in 1986 when the Cattatae discovered how vast the Hutt Empire was and set upon the total defeat of the Hutts.  Over the next century the Cattatae grueled down the Hutts until there empire was destroyed with the devastation of there homeworld and the eradication of there major colonies and only a handful of small colonies survived the genocide.  The Hutts were able to reastblish the old system wide enclaves and reformed the System Lords form of feudalist confederacy, the Hutts once rivaled the Cattatae Regency with its isolationist ideals and xenophobic policies but now exist as crime lords with there region of space. The Enclaves were formally a terrorist-organization but they later on became a nation of their own image when with there four remaining worlds that were too poor and corrupt to become an official province of the old Hutt Empire and survived the genocide. Soon this led into conflict with the Kes Cabal, causing casualties to become high and bloody. In the end a ceasefire was signed and thus, the Communes was created. By the end of the Kes War, leaving the powers of the League and the Cattatae to accept the peace with the possibility of pirate activities. However this made the Cattatae economy worse even further. The result was a military agreement and treaty with there former servants, the League with the Raider Belt Line.

 The Mygeeto are one of a few alien races  that have unusual breeding with having 3 sexes, a male and a female plant there seeds into a third sex that they call a breeder, to have a offspring that is a breeder is considered a high prize on Binthu due to the breeders having only 10% of the total population. A peaceful but defiant species, the cattatae conquered them in 1345 and have had trouble subduing them ever since, being classed as troublesome slaves and rarely used outside of there homeworld.  The Mygeeto were the frontrunners for the series of Cattatae reforms in the 1900's due to constant riots and unrest on Binthu for the last 200 years of the occupation.  The Cattatae gave them self governance in 1876 but this wasnt enougth for the Mygeeto and pursued for full independence and acheived this feet in 1901, they quickly reinstated the monarchy which had been kept form Cattatae assassins for 550 years and started an FTL program to do outside business with there former master and trade outside of the Regency.  The Mygeeto were able to keep some of the near by colonies the Cattatae used for Mygeeto slaves on mining outposts, they were given full control of there surounding space in 2172 with the Treaty of Andor.  The Mygeeto have been able to keep wars outside of there borders since there independence due to the close proximity of Cattatae space and have become an economic power within there region.

On their homeworld of Denoblea, with over 14 billion Denobulan inhabitants all shared one continent.  Consequently, living space was at a premium and Denobulan culture had come to embrace close, communal lifestyles, although this habitation arrangement was due to choice rather than necessity. Denobulans typically preferred to be among large groups and found solitude uncomfortable. However, Denobulans, at least males, were uncomfortable being touched by persons they were not intimate with. Denobulans were typically polyamorous, where a man typically had three wives, who each had three husbands. This created extremely large extended familiesThe Denobleans believed they were the only intelligent species in the Universe until the Hutts made first contact. This incident thus came as quite a surprise to the Denobulans, many of whom took a while to accept the truth that they were not alone in the galaxy. Though it was a somewhat difficult process, the Denobulans were eventually forced to reevaluate their thinking. After the fall of the Hutt Empire, it took the Denobleans longer than most of the other races to achieve FTL, but this was not due to any circumstances except that the Denobleans were not interetsed in interstellar affairs and commerce but kept in contact with the League.  All this changed when the Balos Star Empire demanded to open up trade channels with them that eventually changed Denoblean government stance on non interstellar involvement in 2111 and achieved its first FTL in 2115 to being a well respected species.

The Andorians were discovered in the midst of the Nomadic Age in 14,422 BC by the Vree, unable to get up close again until 1769 AD they watch the Andorians threw detailed telescopes into a late Industrial Age and had colonised the near by moons of Andor for the last 100 years.  Studying the species for a decade until they accidental revealed themselves in 1779, the Andorians welcomed them and had close relations with them and rushed them into a late Information Age with FTL technology within 40 years.  Peace between the two worlds ended with the rise of a xenophobic faction of the government that transitioned into the Andorians Empire mainly due to Vree's attempts to prohibiting Andorian exploration and colonisation and alerting the Cattatae to there two's existance.  This eventually happened in 1859 and the Cattatae started a plan to invade Andoria and implement them into the Reformed Cattatae Republic, thankfully for the Andorians there were a political cue within the leadership and the encroaching fleet was sabotaged and later destroyed by the Andorians.  The Andorians were spared there enslavement for the time being but this victory only boosted the Andorians Empire resolve and placed stricter laws upon the colonies,  Andoria was able to sign a defensive pact with Cattatae Prime due to the Vree signing one with the Hutts weeks earlier.  This was a catalyst for the open rebellion of the other 23 satterlites moons of the gas giant Andor which Andoria also orbits, and civil war brakes out across the Empire with the use of stockpiles of atomic weapons long abandon before the Vree first contact.  Andoria was ravaged and suffered most out of the moons of Andor and the Empire's power base was destroyed and victory came to the other satterlites states.  Setting up a new government as a interplanetary democracy with Andoria as the capital world of there new Freehavens of Andor and peace was restored to the Andorians but needed help from the Vree to restore there worlds beauty back to a per war state and both detached themselves from there defence treaties with the Cattatae and Hutts.  Know the Andorians are a well respected species within the League and an economic power and not to be triffeled with due to large military within a small territory, relations with the Vree have been strained of late due to the close proximity of the two species economic groups with the League embers and with Earth and Cattatae Prime.  The Andorian military has been called upon on many occasions for internal League situations with the use of tactical insurgent teams and fighting in large engagements with other Alien powers during the Narn and Sedition wars.

Before First Contact by the Cattatae, The Vree studied the Karemma for decades but nether revealed themselves and stoped when Alca was transioned into the Greater Regency. The Karremma being an advanced culture and just starting out in the Information Age was given autonomous leadership by the Cattatae and prospered for centuries. The Karemma requested FTL technology so to go into business with the humans and with this persuaded the Confederation 5 years later with the signing of the Treaty of Andor that gave the Karemma full rights as a soverign state, since then they have remained allies to the Cattatae but have grown closure economic and military ties with the Earth Alliance.

Felucia is a dense humid jungle world where plants are as big as trees and the Felucians grew in the many swamp pools besides them, a bipedal race of amphibians, with tall, elongated bodies well-suited for their high metabolism.  which allows them to function on just one hour of sleep a day. Their minds and bodies work faster than most sapient races, making them seem restless or hyperactive. The drawback of this active metabolism is a short lifespan of around 40 human years. Felucia was the last worlds(after the Narns) conquered by peaceful cattatae exploration in 1981 as for afterwards all post cattatae occupations were spoils of war from the Hutt Empire, still living a nomadic existence in near the equatorial jungles when the Cattatae made first contact.  The Fellucians were taught how to build infastructure and building to house technological marvels.  After the Treaty of Andor, the Felucians were set free, they remained in the jungles and kept to themselves but sent a diplomat to the League to keep formal relations and keep up with interstellar affairs.  All this changed when the Narn launched its war of vengeance across the League and Felucia was a target and was orbital bombarded and then occupied by the Narns.  The Earth-League Coalition ended the short occupation of the Narns and the Felucians came a more active part of the League.  In recent years a shift in Felucian politics has made them change there alligenace from the EA and League to form closure ties with the Narn, many believe in the League that the Felucians are only protecting there world by joining with the Narns which would ultimatley destroy it if it was in the wrong side at the time.

This keeps the cattatae out of the affairs of Jaradans allies of the Deneth, Lothra and the powerful Vori which forms a small economic and military pact  known as the Free Nekrit territories. Much of Jaradan culture is devoted to law, and as such has little history of wars, streets near the courthouses are named for gods and great leaders. Many wish to become artists and entenprenures with most work a normal living in offices and factories The government is administered by a ruling council elected by everyone on the planet in a direct representation democracy.  Jara relies heavily on Vori security and has no military of its own except a volonteer securuty force trained with heavy ground to orbit weapons.

The Numeri were soon almost totaley destroyed by a nomadic species known as the Drakh, The species saw colony after colony destroyed along with the only other space faring species at the time, the Zalkat Union. seeing there race was doomed, some saw that the know primitive alien races were being ignored so they believed that the only way was to flee to distant parts of Numeri space and settled on Niacal, destroying all technology so to not be detected by the Drakh.  Surviving a pre-industrial existance for the next 5 thousand years, this exodus would some come into a religion of the Great Journey. The Paxans are part of the Cattatae Commonwealth which was set up to protect the region from future Narn aggression after the Narn Wars, given there freedom in 2213 by the cattatae due to economic constraints. All 4 species that were given there independence requested Cattatae protection due to there close proximity of the Narn border, the Cattatae agreed and set up the Commonwealth with 30% of the Cattatae military devoted to its defense.  The Paxans were a nomadic species with no defined language when the Kulani confederacy invaded Paxan in 1569, the occupation only lasted 12 years as the Kulani were themselves invaded and occupied in 1581 by the Cattatae.  Slavery became a part of daily life for the Paxans until the 1900's, since independence the Paxans have become a nominal influence within the interstellar community but a beneficial member of the Commonwealth.

 The Kulani are a warlike race that were in the middle of the Industrial Age that have had a global empire that has lasted 400 years until the Cattatae invaded in 1581 AD, the Douwdi made contact in 1434 and willingly gave them FTL technology for peaceful exploration and colonization.  This all turned sour in 1520's when the Kulani started an agressive campaign of colonization and fringed on there neighbors territories,  The Kulani discovered the Paxan civilization in the middle of there Nomadic Age and easily subdued them into the growing Confederacy. Fearing the worst the Douwdi willingly excepted to become part of the Cattatae Empire for protection from the Kulani threat.  The Cattatae invaded the Kulan Confederacy 6 years later and transitioned both the Kulani and Paxans into the Empire, over the next 500 years the Kulani developed close bonds with the Douwdi and Armusians as they all shared the same treatment of slavery from there Cattatae masters.  Since 2213 the Kulani have been the driving force for the economy and military might of the Commonwealth and keep strong ties of friendship between there 4 other members.

 The Armusians was in the midst of there Agricultural Age when the peaceful Douwdi made contact with them in 1434 AD, the Armusians being pascifistic themselves admired the Douwdi for there kind genorosity to uplift there species and to visit other stars and planets there revered as gods in the night sky.  There peaceful co-operation with there interstellar neibours soon turned sour when the Kulani started aggressivley reclaiming some of there frontier worlds and saw no way of defending there homeworld from invasion, until the Cattatae wondered across there region of space and offered there services of protection from the encroaching Kulani Confederacy.  The Armusians excepted the Cattatae proposal and security was assured from any Kulani incursions, the Armusians soon learned the bitter lessons of Cattatae ospitality as there species aswel as the entire region was subdued to be the empire workforce for that region of space.  The Armusians remained as slaves until fundemental reforms within the Regency started giving the Cattatae cilent races more freedom to grow and prosper, when the Cattatae offered full independence in 2213 but kept the issue of security and defense for the all the species within the region as under the original conditions of the Armusians and Douwdi exceptence into the empire as the basis for the new Commonwealth's guidelines.  The Armusians have been the rock that has kept the commonwealth species together as a pact to secure there freedoms from Narn aggression.

 The Trill are the only race discovered by Brakiri explorations teams in 2198 AD, in the early stages of there Industrial Age when the Brakiri made first contact, the Trill were able to adapt quickly and become part of the interstellar community by 2239 AD.  The Trill's presence in the Known Galaxy is seen by the major League worlds as a violation of League laws that prohibit first contact to non- FTL civilizations and treat them as such, much is the reason the Brakiri have trouble dealing with the League and is the main reason for amimosity of the 2 races between the League.  The Trill still has nation states that maintain and govern areas of its interstellar teritory to its FTL capable nations and remain peaceful to each other to keep up its stable economy with the Brakiri. The Ogla is a monarchy ruled by the Jouii Dynasty, that has lasted for over 2,000 years threw inbreeding. The Ogla are an one gendered speceies but is not that quite defined, Though they resemble females, the Ogla are non-gender specific, with no concept of gender differences. Although they have one gender, they are not asexual. An Ogla provides two copies of her own genes to her offspring, the father is the one who does not give birth. The second set of genes is altered in a unique process called melding, also known as the joining.  The Ogla are a small but influential part of the League, seen as the ambassadorial role of the League of Free Worlds, Erninle was too far from the Hutt and Cattatae empires so the Ogla were able to develope into the Stellar age by themselves and contacted the Abbai in 1867 AD. the Ogla were able to stay off the the radar of the two empires until it helped in the founding of the League and found its place in the forth coming years later as the outside voice of the interstellar coalition.  Ogla society is free and open to trade and has a free press as long nothing is said ill of the monarchy and has good relations with almost every civilization of the Known Galaxy.

The Talosians are a militaristic species that has had the grip of the Empire over there civilization for the last 600 years,  in the 16th century  there was a largre imperial nation on the main continent of Talos  and thery were the first to lead the Talosians into their Industrial Age and the Empire was able to imperialize there whole planet within 150 years.  Since then the Talosians have had a stagnated technological development due to laws prohibiting in new technologies in their late Industrial age, eventually discovered by the Dilgar in 2114 forced the Talosians to abandon these laws and try and create, find or steal any advanced technolgy they can get there hands on. finding help from the easy manipulated Pak'ma'ra, they wer able to buy and trade there way into the Stellar age by the 2200's.  Know the Talos Empire is a minor power with big ambitions but are unable to have the capital to do so.

The Suliban species have enjoyed peace on there homeworld for the last 1400 years, they civilization is rural based with a few scattered cities due to the Suliban tendencies to be in open space.  The Dilgar made first contact with them in 2045 and had ambitions to send an invasion force to the Cultural Age species until the Cattatae crushed there dreams of empire in 2061, the Suliban remained as they were before first contact but there leaders did realize the dangers of remaining ignorant of alien interference. They had some alien traders from time to time and were able to acquire interstellar communications in 2089 the Suliban, soon they were admitted into the new League of Free worlds and was able to advance there technology through them.  The Son'a decided to invade the lightly defended Suliban Alliance in 2256 in a bloodless invasion of half of there territory, the suliban government capitulated to a astonished Son'a fleet that had no ambitions in continuing to Suliban.  The Son'a were so pleased with this that they allowed the Suliban to self rule what was left of there territory but under Son'a influence, but this new arrangement is like walking on egg shells for the Suliban as the threat of Son'a invasion looms almost weekly.

The Llort were discovered by the Cattatae in 1973 but were left alone and only picked at random to be used as slaves on near by mining ouposts,  when the Hutt/cattatae wars were raging, Vaatas was in the middle of the frontlines and was the surface of Vaatas was left battered and bruised by the violence. The Cattatae left Vaatas in 2072 with treaty of Andor.  The Llort were in middle of the Industrial Age when the Cattatae left, being snuffed by the League, the Llort took a chance with the Earth Alliance that willingly gave FTL technology and blueprints to build and launch there own interstellar vessel due to prior contact due to the Cattatae. The Llort struggle to adapt and create new technologies of there own so they are reduced to scavaging, trading or stealing alien technology, the humans didnt realize the implications giving them FTL capabilities it would have to Llort society and the Known aglaxy at large.  The Llort were given to achieve Quantium Flux starship soon after contact but there civilization technological level remained in the Industrial age to the present day.  The Llort imediatley went to seek out other aliens to advance there own but the League had strict laws against sharing advanced tech with lower tech races and by 2179 the Earth Alliance had adopted these laws too and by 2212, the law were made stricter to no contact with non-FTL species at all. The Llort started a near by colonization program due to the lack of resources on Vaatas but remained in a late Industrial Age with an advanced interstellar space program that make the Llort an unusual race. The surface of Vartas is a rocky hell, necessitating the Llorts to live underground in elaborate, maze-like villages, towns and cities that have endured for thousands of years.  The Llort are always on the look out for new technology to improve there own species and become rich in the process.  Recently the governing body of the Llort has been groomed by the Narn ambassador within the Interstellar Assembly to be given the technological advances that would propel them into the Stellar age.

When a Bynar is born, a surgeon removes the child's parietal lobe and replaces it with a synaptic processor.  This was due to a nessecarity of the planet the Bynars chose to live on when were abandoned by there homeworld of Ventuki 17,000 years ago, the planet has a simmular conditions as Ventuki which allowed the Vree to survive but only granted half the life expectancy as they do on there homeworld.  This slowed the techological evolution of the origional Vree species to an Agricultural Age of development until the synaptic processors were finally developed in 1823 AD.  Never discovering FTL technology the self declared Bynars were limited to the Bynar star system which they were in the process of colonizing until 1938 when the Hutt Empire reached its zenith and the Bynars were forced to pay homage to the Grand Nagus, later the Cattatae/Hutt wars saw Bynar in the middle of some of the most intense fighting between thw two empires and devastated the Bynar homeworld. Since the colapse of the Hutt Empire, Bynar quickly recovered and gained independence soon after.  This is when the Vree intrigued by the Bynars appearence to there Vree ancestors made contact with them, the Bynars have no official records of that long ago as reffered as the Great Dissapation. Soon the Bynars were admitted into the League and became allies to the Vree.

The Kamino tribes, a race of aggressive and primitive savages that were invaded by the Hutts and are now the most wide spreaded species in the Known Galaxy. The Kamminos are the most short-lived humanoid species currently known, with an average lifespan of only 20 years. The Kamminos are known for a rather unique biology that differentiates them from other known species and which carries with it a striking set of advantages and disadvantages. The Kamminos have clusters of non-differentiated cells, similar to those found on the Planarian worm of Earth. These cells allow the Kamminos limited regenerative abilities, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to its environment, such as developing thicker skin after being burned or increased musculature to survive in high gravity. When a Kamminos is injured or in distress, these cells move to the affected area and rapidly (~1 week) mature to specialized forms that will alleviate the issue. A Kamminos that is cut or burned will adapt to have thicker skin. The lungs of a Kamminos placed in a barely-breathable atmosphere will adapt to better use the gases there. A Kamminos subjected to high gravity will quickly develop stronger heart and leg muscles. Non-differentiated Kamminos cell clusters do replenish themselves, but the process is slow. Generally Kamminos can only adapt to a single environment within their brief lives. However, what cells are replaced allow them to heal rapidly, and even regrow lost limbs over a period of months. However, as a consequence of this, the Kamminos as a species no longer evolve as other races do. The Kamminos equivalent of DNA has remained unchanged for millions of years. There is no need for them to evolve as a species when they can adapt as individuals.

The Voth is the given name of the 2 species coexisting within the Voth star system, the 4th and 5th planets of Voran and Thusia accordlingly had no idea of each others existence until the Cattatae came to there star system in 1403 AD and anexxed them both into the empire.  The Vorans were in the late industrial Age and the Thusians were starting there Cultural Age when the Cattatae occupied and enslaved the 2 civilizations, this lead to views of Voran superiorty over there Thusian neighbors due to the lack of advancement when both discovered.  When they both achieved full independence in 2172 AD, both wasted no time in building there defenses against a possible attack from one another.  Even though there were some skirmishes between the two they both agreed on co-oparation than the alternative and keep there deterrents and both signed the Treay of VOTH ( the excepted name by the Cattatae to define the two species within the same star system VOran & THusia) in 2214 AD,  and have become stronger together for it.  The Voth is democractic and has a strong military and economy to back it up and is viewed to become a major power in the near future.

The Grome government is a theocratic nation within the western part of the Orion Spur. The primary blame within many conspiracy theories made by the Earth Allaince's political right-wing groups, they ignore the Alliance and view them as "ignorant". They remain focused on fighting against the Hutts and the Kes Cabal. Modern Grome religion has its roots in the Hutts Empire's Century of Strife, the period of chaos following the civil war of the Hutts. At the end of the Strife, the Grome were reunited under the precepts of the Khala ("Path to Ascension") as promoted by the mystic Khas. The Khala took advantage of the natural psionic communal link and established a caste system. Grome can be fanatical when it comes to their religious beliefs. Not all Grome embraced the Khala. These outcasts, eventually known as the Dark Templar, were later banished from Rayingri.

The Pran are the only known pre_FTL species to strafe off a more technological interstellar power from invasion,  in 1742 AD the Pran were the early stages of their imformation age when the Hutts started planetary bombing Carere.  The Pran many competitive states had been in a arms race and had stockpiled thousands of nuclear weapons. When the Hutts attacked, the Pran nations worked together for a co-ordinated bombing of there own and launched there missles into the Hutt's fleet formations.  The Hutts were caught off guard and suffered more than 3 quaters of there invasion fleet before they had to leave orbit,  the aftermath was that this was able to unify the Pran nation states into a dictatorship union of the whole of Carere.  Even though the Pran made preparations for the return of the alien aggressor, the event eventually faded and started to lapsed in any counter measures. The defeat did not stop the Hutts from attempting again in 1843 and sucseeded in capitulating the Pran's government.  The Pran suffered more than most under Hutt rule for the next 140 years until the fall of the Hutt Empire, the Pran took longer than most to recover from the occupation.  Carere was devastated and there were little infrstructure left standing after liberation, the little technology they had was abandoned Hutt technology which was more policing based on keeping the Pran in there place.  This gave the rise of the Directorate, which is no more than a bunch of bandits that got a hold of the Hutt technology before anyone else did and founded the Directorate to basically control the popoulation.  Since then the Pran has steadily become a small minor power with a stagnated economy and high corruption within, slowing down any alien investment on Carere even thow the Pran prefer this due to high xenophobia due to the Hutts enslavement.

 The Praylor was one of the first species to achieve FTL within the Orion Spur of the modern era. Rougthly 5000 years ago the 1st Praylor civilization built acceleration gates that employed gravity in an unique way to slingshot ships between planets. This gave the ships enough momentum to fly between planets in a much shorter time than before. But thePraylor never discovered how to build interstellar jump gates, so their acceleration gates were mostly limited to their home system, where deralicts still exist today. They had one with much larger acceleration gates capable of sending ships to the Leshan Star System, but they never got a chance to build anymore them due to the fall of the 1st Praylor civilization. This was due to a gas giant gettng too close to the Praylor sun and creating such a disturbance that the whole Praylor star system was ravaged with solar storms for nearly a decade.  On Xammari, all technology had become useless as the whole of Xammari had become magnetised and destroyed the advances of the civilization. 

  The Praylor socierty soon fell into anarchy and mass starvation and war gripped the planet for years. After the dust had settled nearly 5 billion Praylor had died with disease and drought and starvation, the survivors had devolved back to a pre-industrial civilization and had a mis-trust of advanced technology for thousands of years after.  It wasnt until 1500 years ago did the laws did the dogma of the 1st Civilization started to be lifted until they reached the Information age by the 22nd century when the humans made first contact.  The Praylor Kingdom are now a minor power struggling to compete with there close neibours the Leshan Protectorate that have become there main economic rival and have had some minor smirmishes and a few wars but since the Expeditionary invasion of the Earth Alliance, the fighting has drowned into a cold war. Hutt pirates and lone group of Raiders were hired by the Leshan Protectorate to weaken the Praylor Kingdom Zamak Dynasty's influence, However when Praylor spies found out about this, Zamak decided to focus on the Leshan Protectorate, seeking to crush it swiftly before they could destroy the Kingdom. While Xamarri remain at peace, the Fringe Worlds end up becoming a battlefield for the Praylor. Secretly, however, the Praylor supports the Son'a in high hopes of ending the Earth Alliance within Leshan space. The League also make up a threat to the Praylor with sanctions, so Zamak declared marshal law within the southern fringe colonies.

DEFENCE: Treagir is home the Hurq, a race where war never been more than a few hundred soidier and was enjoying a mid industrial age before the Cattatae came and executed all the Hurq's Kings and Queens of the 55 Kingdoms, The Cattatae will fight some hard wars to keep hold of Treagir as it would fall nto the hands of the Hutts twice during the 2nd Hutt/Cattatae war and the Hurq suffered greatly for it.  After the 3rd war with the Hutts the Cattatae wernt in any state to afirm their will upon the Hurq, neither did they want too as they had more interested investments deeper within there teritory, the Hurq started to self rule themselves once more in 2091 AD but had a problem on how.  The idea of a planet-wide unitary government was all agreed on but who to place as king for the whole Hurq, the way the Hurq made it work is by an elected official head of state of the 55 provinces and the elected leader will become King for life and then re-elections are done after the passing of the last. This went on for over a century and the Hurq flourished with trading with the League, but a small poverty stricken province called Lakai was had started demanding more automony in the 2170's.  As there demands were ignored, some Lakai decided to start terrorism on Treagir, straight away the Crowned Republic took notice but for the wrong reasons and sent in peacekeepers into Lakai.  Eventually the violence become so intenced within Lakai that the King decided to irradicate the whole region, it wasnt long until the League discovered there genocide and forced sanctions against the Hurq. The Dilgar believed this was too soft approach and launced an invasion of Treagir in 2237, the war didnt last long as the Dilgar Imperium decimated Hurq defences and surrendered within 6 weeks.  The Hurq were part of the Imperium until 2246 after the defeat of the Dilgar in the Sedition War,  the Hurq have been rebuilding ever since and even thow the Crowned Republic has been reastablished, the concerns of smaller states is now listened too and overall a better society.
